Glen Andersen is a designer, imagineer and coordinator of outdoor mosaics in pebble and tile, usually for public locations. Since 1995 his work has involved working and/or designing with community groups, such as neighbourhoods or schools. He believes collectively-produced art is a vital aspect to the social health of communities, where handmade art can intervene poetically into the cookie-cutter realm of everyday life that is usually under the domain of engineers and other officially-sanctioned professional designers.
