Yoko Tomita has worked on a number of community based art projects including Renfrew Ravine Banner Project, Collingwood Cultural Harmony Banners, Collingwood Neighbourhood House Rooftop Garden Mosaics, Slocan Park Playground Mural, Renfrew Park Community Centre's Building Blocks for Healthy Choices Mural and other community art projects. As well, Yoko teaches children's art programs and has been a host artist for the Renfrew Arts, Health and Seniors Project for a number of years. Yoko is also the facilitator for the Renfrew Collingwood Multicultural Artists's Group.
