Description

Means of Production Garden and Trillium North Park are both unique
working-landscape communal gardens that grow crops for hand work, art and craft
purposes in the core of Vancouver. They’re different in ages and environments, yet both
required time, energy and love beyond the capacity of previous staff and volunteers in response to 2017/18 Parks Operations work on site. This project connected them as one Fibre-Shed and built infrastructure and social capital required for their revitalization, including upgraded retractable rain awnings, plantings
of new raised beds, woven borders, stewardship outreach, and free community crop-use programs.
