Description

This was a partnership project between the Collingwood BIA and leadership students from
Windermere High School. The project also partnered with Emerging Hope – Escape
Gardens, a non-profit community group that helps to employ marginalized workers. The project
consisted of the creation of 19 planter box kits for installation in front of Collingwood BIA
member businesses. Once installed, the planters are available for adoption by the business. The
planters have added colour and texture to the busy Kingsway traffic corridor.
