This busy street corner underwent a radical transformation with the planting of this community garden. Spearheaded by the Latin community in this area, the garden provides a lush oasis in the midst of an urban jungle.In March 2011 the project received additional support from the Neighbourhood Matching Fund to build pathways and a gate, rebuild planter boxes in need of repair and replenish the depleted soils, and create a birdhouse post.
