Description

The entrance to the ravine is enhanced with a welcoming pathway, garden, and stone labyrinth. Still Moon worked with the community to determine the best way to highlight the labyrinth and make it easier to maintain. We decided to create pebble mosaic lunations to complete the labyrinth, make it easier for Parks board staff to mow the lawn up to the edge of the labyrinth. We held workshops in the neighbourhood to make the mosaics and worked with the leadership students to install the mosaic lunations. We also replanted sections of the North Ravine Garden and made a sign to credit the original community creators of the north ravine yin yang bench and native plant garden.
