Description

The aim of The Living Wall Garden Project was to strengthen the relationships between street involved youth, seniors, families and business organizations through the creation of a vertical garden and socially engaged art work. The project provided a model for mentorship by which youth explored their passions, discovered opportunity, received skills training, generated employment and produced creative and healthy environments. The project was funded by multiple partners including the Canadian Ministry of Youth, The Vancouver Park Board, The City of Vancouver, and partnered with Dusk 'Til Dawn Drop in Centre (St. Paul's Hospital), and was overseen by FarmFolk/CityFolk.
