Ever wonder what the fuss was all about? or where to find public art pieces in the city? The Public Art Registry provides information and images of public artworks located throughout Vancouver. Information can be searched by neighbourhood, artist, artwork title, and type of artwork. The registry is still in process; collecting and compiling research material is an ongoing project and we welcome any facts or anecdotes you might have to help us fill in the gaps.

Vancouver’s Public Art Registry Available on VanMap:

VanMap is a web-based mapping application which allows you to view the City of Vancouver. Currently, VanMap can display information that ranges from property lines, zoning information, sewer mains, view cones, non-market housing public places, to orthophotos. You can also explore Vancouver’s public art on line, as well as save or print out the maps. VanMap is located at vancouver.ca/vanmap. Details on how to use VanMap are available and in a few steps VanMap can be loaded on your computer. (Macs too!)
