of specific Building By-Law requirements. It is not intended to provide
design advice, resolve complaints or provide project specific information. Please note this service is only
intended to address Vancouver Building By-Law interpretations for design and construction
in the City of Vancouver. Interpretations to other codes should be directed to the
related jurisdiction. Your question/enquiry will be circulated to applicable staff
for a response. The question/enquiry (without identification to the enquirer) and
the subsequent answer will be used in the department's Q & A database. By submitting
